1. Who we are
Hoops & Racket operates a court-booking service at The Orchard Cebu Hotel & Suites, A. S. Fortuna St., Bakilid, Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines. For questions or requests about this policy, email hello@hoopsandracket.ph.
2. Information we collect
- Booking details, including your name, email address, phone number, selected courts and schedules, player count, notes, rentals, promo codes, and booking or payment status.
- Account information, such as your name, email address, password credential managed by our authentication service, and bookings linked to your verified email.
- Technical and usage information, such as device and browser data, approximate location derived from an IP address, security logs, page performance, and limited booking-funnel events.
- Messages and support information you send when asking for help, changing a booking, or requesting a refund review.
We do not ask you to enter card numbers, CVVs, wallet passwords, or one-time passwords on this website. Payment credentials are entered only on the hosted payment provider's page when online payment is available.
3. How we use information
- Provide, confirm, manage, and support court reservations.
- Process or reconcile payments and review refund requests.
- Send booking, payment, cancellation, rescheduling, and check-in communications.
- Prevent overlapping reservations, misuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- Operate, troubleshoot, measure, and improve the website and booking experience.
- Meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
We process information when it is needed to provide the booking service you request, comply with law, protect legitimate business and security interests, or when you have given valid consent for a separate purpose.
4. When information is shared
We may share only the information needed with service providers that support authentication, hosting and database operations, email delivery, analytics, security, and hosted payment processing. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.
Providers may process information in other countries. Where this occurs, we remain responsible for using appropriate contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards.
5. Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for reservations, customer support, dispute handling, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Retention periods may differ by record type. We use reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards, but no internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Your privacy rights
Subject to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and applicable exceptions, you may ask to be informed about processing, access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, object or withdraw consent where applicable, request erasure or blocking, obtain portable data where applicable, and raise a complaint. 7. Children
A person who cannot legally enter a booking agreement must have a parent or legal guardian make and manage the reservation. Please do not submit personal information about a child unless it is necessary for the booking and you are authorized to provide it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date shown above identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented through the website or another appropriate channel.
